So... a year?
This Haunter likes to use Sucker Punch, an attack that always has priority if I'm using an attack move. Vine Whip isn't very effective against the half-Poison-type Gastly family, either.
Instead, I set it up for Nelly by using Stun Spore.
A few bites and it dies. Again.
Pretty sure it was just a loss, ma'am.
She's just full of insight, this one.
