Day 230: Scientist Trenton

“This Radio Tower will fulfill our
grand design.”
 what could it be
So Trenton's lone Pokemon is a Porygon. Finally, something Rhianna can glean some experience from! I hit it with Vine Whip.
 Almost there...
Heh, it's never that easy, is it? Its Recover heals slightly more than Vine Whip damages. We're going to be here for awhile.
Here's the next turn, right after Rhianna's Vine Whip. You can see that he has a little more health than before. And now he's Recovering again.
We begin a Vine Whip/Recover war, with a brief respite where he uses Conversion, a move that changes his type to one of his moves (in this case Electric, because his only non-normal move is Charge Beam, and Electric-type move.) I use Stun Spore in the hopes of preventing some of his Recovers.
He doesn't get paralyzed much, but I switch to Acid for sufficiently sneaky reasons.
 The war continues...
At this point (I wish I got a picture of it) uses Conversion 2. Conversion 2 changes his type to what is resistant to the last move used on it. Since Acid was used on it, it switches to Ground-type.
It's super fucking effective! Strategy!
You should've planned for 10-year-old saboteurs.
I've done pretty well so far.

Day 229: Team Rocket Grunt

The next day, past the Team Rocket Grunt...
“You should be able to unlock the door
with the Card Key!”
I need a Card Key in order to beat Diablo. That lady on the lower right tells me the Director has the Card Key. I can find him on the top floor. To the top, I suppose!

I go up a floor...
“because I'm going to beat you!”
 gasp
Once again I'm forced to switch to Nelly because Rhianna isn't typed well against Zubat.  Zubat immediately confuse rays me. In a bold, totally-unlike-me decision, I power through the confusion and have Nelly use a move...
 Which, surprisingly, works.
Grunt's next 'mon is Golbat. I switch to Rhianna to give her some experience, but then quickly switch back.
The Golbat uses a few Wing Attacks, beating up Nelly to half health. A few Bites later, though, and it dies.
Grimer's last. It uses Sludge a few times, but then, in a shocking twist, I Bite it to death.

Day 228: Team Rocket Grunt

How generically evil!
This Team Rocket Grunt continues the asshole tradition of being resistant to Rhianna, so I'm forced to use Nelly. Fortunately she can use the experience.
And, fortunately, he's a lameface and dies in a few turns.
A relative of Passerb's, I suppose!

Day 227: Scientist Garett

 Stalin, the Pokemon trainer.
Vine Whip fairs poorly against Magnemite. Rhianna just does not get any luck against these Rocket assholes.
I switch to Diane. I don't want to use her too much because she's over leveled compared to Rhianna and Nelly, but she's also the only one with super effective attacks against Steel.
I switch to Nelly. Steel and Electric are supposed to be neutral against Bite, but for some reason it only does a quarter of its health and says it isn't effective. I stubbornly power through anyway, killing it but getting Nelly paralyzed in the process.
For the next Magnemite, I cure Nelly of paralysis and Bite it.
 Goddamn. Magnemite paralyzes me again.
I power through it anyway - all Magnemite uses is "Lock On", which is useless by itself. Magnemite dies.
“I can transmit as strong a signal as
I need from here.”
What could they possibly be planning...

Day 226: Team Rocket Grunt

The next day, at the Radio Tower...
“I'm to crush anyone who challengs
Team Rocket!”
I switch to Nelly from Rhianna because Grass doesn't fair so well against Poison. She starts out with a solid Bite, but then...
 Gwah!
It faints, dealing decent damage to Nelly.
I switch back to Rhianna to get some experience for her. She kills Ratata in one hit.
Switch back to Nelly again, killing Zubat with a few bites.
 Grimer shares the same fate.
