Generally I use moves that are super effective.
Kelly's first Pokemon is a Marill. Rhianna kills it with Vine Whip in one hit, leveling her up to 38!
Kelly's first Wartortle uses Protect, which effectively makes me lose Vine Whip PP.
Next turn it dies like it was supposed to.
Her second Wartortle just dies immediately.
