 The next day, a relatively not-awful distance away...

 Dude's pretty resistant to Vine Whip, so I finish it off with an Acid.

Day 182: Sanshrew

 The next day, seven steps away...

 I one-shot the Sandshrew with Vine Whip.  Is fun times.

Day 181: Hiker Leonard

 The next day, in further into Union cave...

 Leonard opens with a Geodude. An ill-fated plan, as Rhianna destroys him in one hit.

 I try out Acid instead of Vine Whip, taking Machop to only half health. He wastes his turn on some self-buff, like Focus Energy. (No, really. I just up and forgot what he did...)

 The next acid is a crit, finishing him off.

 Creepy!

Day 180: Sandshrew

 Vine Whip gives it the ol' one-one punch.

 I estimate... one more week. One more week of this madness, and the Leppa berry will be mine.

Day 179: Wooper

 Yet another day with almost no progress.
 The one nice thing is that Wooper is level 19, so he's worth more than a little experience, at least.

Rhianna reaches level 27. She tries to learn Knock Off, which removes an enemies' hold item. It seems like a decent tactical move, but it's far too situational to replace her current moves, so I let it go.

Day 178: Geodude

I've made it to the second floor. It shouldn't be terribly longer...

Darn

 One shot, of course.

Day 177: Firebreather Ray

 Bury the bo... huh? A person? Oh... a battle...

 I break out ol' Acid. Fortunately it's enough for the low-level Vulpix.
